Drifter grew out of years spent traveling with the Captains Collective Podcast. While I visited incredible places and recorded meaningful conversations, something always felt missing. It wasn't about better gear or bigger water—it wasthe absence of a shared community. I wanted people to fish beside, laugh with at the lodge, and hold onto memories with long after returning home.

The seeds were planted during childhood trips when my father and his friends let me tag along. Their hospitality taught me that a great trip isn’t defined by the catch, but by how people are welcomed and the stories they carry back. I wanted to build that same environment for a new generation of anglers who value the relationships as much as the fishing. With a few friends, I created Drifter to be that home.
